The Austin Children’s Shelter Tribute Center provides individuals participating in the  Austin Marathon the opportunity to support the Shelter by becoming a Champion.  Your fund page tells your story and provides your friends and family the opportunity to make an online donation to the Austin Children's Shelter. In addition to raising needed funding, you are helping to raise awareness about our mission and how we lay a foundation of hope for abused and neglected children.

Create a Fund
Clicking the Create a Fund link displays the set of pages you can use to create your fund and Fund Web Page to tell your story or honor a person dear to you (called the fund’s Honoree) as you assist us in raising much-needed funds. When you create a fund, you are called a fund Champion. 

Note: If you have previously registered with our site, you should log in now to use existing information from your profile. If you have not registered, you will be asked to enter your street and email address and to create a User Name/Password login during the fund creation process.

Share What Matters to You
After naming your fund and providing basic information about it, you, as the fund champion, can:

• Tell your story about running in the Austin Marathon and why you are championing the Austin Children's Shelter.
• Upload a digital photo of yourself or the team you are running with on the Fund Web Page.
• If you are honoring someone, provide the street and email address of the fund Honoree, or a designated Next of Kin contact, that can be notified when gifts are made to the fund.
• If you are creating a Tribute to someone, review and agree to a waiver that states you have the permission of the Honoree, or the Honoree’s family, to create the Fund Web Page.
• Provide a personal donation as the Initial Gift to the fund.

Easily invite your friends and family
After creating the fund, you can access the Champion Center to personalize your Fund Web Page, send emails to your family and friends to ask them to visit your fund, and more.

Why do this?
The money you raise will help Austin Children's Shelter to continue to provide quality care for abused and neglected children. It is through the support of the community that we are able to provide the critical services and programs these children need to begin to heal.

Find a Fund
Clicking the Find a Fund link displays a search page that you can use to locate the Fund Web Page of someone you know. From there you can contribute to the Austin Children's Shelter in the name of the fund Champion or person being honored.
