Through the support of Applied Materials, the global leader in Nanomanufacturing Technology™ solutions, the Austin Children's Shelter was able to start our successful Building TomorrowsPre-School Learning Project, which ensures children in our care have an opportunity to begin kindergarten with a better chance of academic success. Applied Materials employees also generously give through the company’s employee giving program. |

The Austin Community Foundation helps charitable dollars to go as far as possible toward improving life for all Central Texans. With a grant from ACF we were able to purchase much needed medical equipment such as, new digital infant and toddler scales and an exam table, which greatly enhances the level of medical care we are able to provide. |

The Austin Junior Forum is a non-profit volunteer organization supporting women, children, and the elderly in the Austin area through community service and fund raising. AJF supports for our Healthy Kids program, specifically by providing medications and supplies not covered by Medicaid or insurance. |

The Dell Foundation awarded the Austin Children's Shelter with a grant for our Building Tomorrows Technology Learning Lab. This lab helps give our clients urgently-needed education and practice in using new technology tools, including educational software and hardware. Dell and it's employees also give their time, resources and funding through various group volunteer activities and a very successful matching gifts program. |

For the past four years Holt McDougal, a leader in educational publishing, has supported our Building Tomorrows program. Through grant funding and book donations Holt has helped the children in our care achieve academic success. ACS has also received funding through employee events such as book sales and silent auctions held throughout the year. |

The Junior League of Austin is dedicated to strengthening our community through creative solutions to current and future challenges. The Life Skills Program, first begun by The Junior League of Austin, teaches teenagers independent living skills necessary to live more successfully on their own, such as opening a checking account and applying for a job. |

The Lola Wright Foundation provided a grant for the purchase of a much needed minivan. The minivan in essential for the day to day needs of the children in our care such as medical appointments, court appearances and fun outings. The foundation also awarded the Shelter a grant to purchase five new computers to help schedule and manage all the children’s activities. |

Using a collaborative approach, Michael and Susan Dell Foundation partners with organizations primarily focused on children's health, education, safety, youth development and early childhood care. MSDF supports the S.A.F.E.Program, which encompasses all manner of basic needs services to permit each child to recover and thrive while in the Austin Children's Shelter’s care. In addition, MSDF made a leadership gift to the Capital Campaign |

By supporting the S.A.F.E Program the RGK Foundation helps to meet the basic needs of abused and neglected children by providing Shelter, Apparel, Food, and a secure Environment. The RGK Foundation has also contributed to our Capital Campaign and expansion plans. |

St. Luke’s Episcopal Health Charities supports nonprofit service organizations targeting disease prevention and health promotion among the underserved. St. Luke’s supports our Healthy Kids Program, specifically our onsite Medical Case Manager who provides preventative and restorative health services. |

The Topfer Family Foundation supports programs that provide resources, training and treatment for families and children of abuse. The funding Austin Children's Shelter receives from TFF allows highly qualified staff members to conduct assessments, perform crisis intervention, offer group and individual therapy, and provide intensive case management to the children in our care. In addition, TFF made a leadership gift to the Capital Campaign.
