What We Do

ACS provides residential and non-residential services to children, youth, and families. Our emergency shelter and long-term residential programs provide support for kids in the state’s care. We also provide foster, adoption, and kinship care services to families in Central Texas. And our community-based programs offer a range of supports and services aimed at strengthening families and keeping children safe in their own homes.

Care Academy

Care Academy is our new full-time child care facility open to the public with an innovative program designed to support both parents and children to ensure family success and school readiness. Our unique approach recognizes the critical importance of the first five years of a child’s life and the challenges that all parents face during those years. Learn more at
