Kinnser Software Donates $150K in Unrestricted Funds to ACS Kinnser
Software, Inc., a leading home health software firm based in
Austin, Texas,
announces its charitable donation of $150,000 in unrestricted funds to the
Austin Children’s Shelter (ACS) to deliver services to children and young
adults in central Texas.
President Christopher Hester made the decision to contribute funds to the local
organization based on his desire to help children and young adults to thrive at

Austin Children's Shelter named a beneficiary of Statesman Capitol 10K The
Austin Children’s Shelter and Statesman Swim Safe for Austin Kids have been
named joint beneficiaries of the 2011 Statesman Capitol 10,000 sponsorship
proceeds. The 34th annual race will be held Sunday, March 27, 2011, in Austin, Texas. Click here for the press release.
ACS Opens Long-Term Cottage for Boys For the first time in its 26-year history, the Austin Children's Shelter is now offering long-term care and transitional living services to older teens and young adults who are “aging out” of foster care. The Therapeutic Living Center for Boys sponsored by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation is now open. Traditionally providing only emergency short-term care, the opening of this cottage marks a significant expansion in programs by adding services specifically for this population of youth. Texas Senate Honors Austin Children’s Shelter on 25th Anniversary May 19, 2009 During the Senate session on Monday, May 18th, Senator Kirk Watson honored the Austin Children's Shelter with Senate Resolution No. 630 recognizing the Shelter's 25th anniversary.
